We used FHS for a remodel project that involved a room addition, an ADU conversion, and an outdoors room (covered concrete patio). The business owner Ferdy has built a team of talented and hardworking professionals who delivered on a rather complex project with a lot of details. Our house is more than 100 years old and FHS was attentive to our requests in ensuring that the new construction would integrate the existing structure seamlessly. Of all the people on the FHS team, in addition to Ferdy, we interacted with Elias, Antonio, Henry, and Gelson the most. Elias was the project manager, and he was patient, poised, responsive, polite, and organized. He was very flexible in adapting his project management workflow to our needs. Elias was particularly adept at cultivating a good working relationship with inspectors from day 1. Antonio and Henry could handle almost any task you threw at them: framing, plumbing, electrical, concrete, you name it! Antonio was particularly good at tasks that required attention to fine details while Henry was excellent at handling large and complex structures. Gelson had an artistic eye for painting, staining, moldings, and anything that went into the finishing touches. In every construction project, there are times when things go according to plan, and times when problems arise. Whenever a problem occurred, the FHS team was responsive, found a solution, and implemented it effectively. Ferdy's excellent team at FHS is augmented by a network of specialist subcontractors that can handle anything a house needs including tiles, stucco, concrete pour, flooring, railing, cabinetry, etc. All-in-all, FHS is a very capable and professional business whether you're remodeling an existing structure or building a house from scratch.

I contacted FHS to give me an estimate for fixing an exterior water drainage issue made worse by last winter's rain. They were knowledgeable about the problem and laid out a very competitive proposal. I ultimately didn't proceed with their bid, but wanted to highlight their professionalism and communication throughout the complex estimate process. Wouldn't hesitate to reach out again.

Everyone on the crew was kind, responsible, and most importantly respectful of our time and space. The crew seems to truly enjoy what they do as it reflects in the final product. As a result, communication was key. The team text thread was an environment of quick response and updates. Never felt any pressure and truly had no worries.

This is a very late review, but we hired FHS Construction in 2021 to significantly tune up our garage and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. Ferdy was a great partner in planning, clearly outlining costs, and suggesting alternatives to the intended design, but most of all, he and his entire team were genuinely fun to collaborate with. They delivered great results at a reasonable price and at no point was there any confusion or pressure to add costly features. I've been using the garage as my home office for 2 years now and am very happy with how everything has held up.

Alex, who was in charge, was great. He checked in all the time and even hung my sconces. All of the crew, the drywall workers, the guys who took down the ceiling and the painters all top notch! We did a total kitchen remodel with Ferdy and his team. We knocked out walls and ceiling, did custom cabinetry, custom countertops and tiled the floor. Working with them was a great experience. There were so many jobs to be done and we were so happy with the final result. They were easy to communicate with, always available and the whole crew is kind and professional. From my first meetings with Ferdy and his team I knew I wanted to hire FHS for my renovation job. I did my homework though and met with other contractors which was a waste of time ...so now you don't need to, ha! My renovation included a complete kitchen, living & dining room, half bath, new floors, paint, tile, slider etc. Each and every person on the FHS crew were professional skilled craftsmen. FHS agreed to do a mix of exterior work for us while we were going to be on an extended visit with family. A major reason we chose FHS to do this work was their willingness to communicate and the overall respectful and professional tenor in all communications leading up to the project. Ferdy and Elias were our main two contacts and they were always reachable and friendly. FHS delivered on all things within their control, did excellent work, and followed up on every single touch up, patch, cleaning need, and anything else we found after the completion of the bulk of the work. They were transparent about costs and clearly do not cut corners but rather accurately price the quality of the work. The main concern we had with a contractor was communication and accessibility (as all horror stories suggest) and we had a great experience especially in that regard with FHS. Highly recommend.

We could not be happier with our bathroom that went from small, UGLY and not utilized efficiently to a gorgeous spacious space for us to enjoy. Ferdy, Ivan and their team helped us go from a small pedestal sink to a double sink and a much bigger shower without moving a wall. They had so many alternative solutions to spacing issues we had and I just couldn't be happier. They were reliable, always on time and communicated with us frequently. We will be using Ferdy and his team again - couldn't recommend more!
