FHS did such a great job remodeling the master bathroom at our home in Burbank; so, when we got a fixer-upper condo in Oceanside, Ferdy, Elias, and their team were the first contractor we thought of to help us with the remodel. The condo had most of the original fixtures from the 80s and required a full facelift (see before and after pics). FHS replaced the floors and kitchen countertops, installed a new kitchen sink/faucet and new ceiling fans, and did a total remodel of the bathroom - replacing the old tub/shower with a new tiled shower. The best part about working with FHS again was knowing I could trust them to do quality work with little supervision. I told Elias what I wanted, gave him the keys, and let FHS do all the work in Oceanside while I worked from home in Burbank. The team always wore masks (remodel was during covid), kept the common areas clean (I received no complaints from our HOA), and finished the work right on schedule. We're so happy with the work and the family loves having a beautiful place by the beach!

This is the company you want to hire! They remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. Ferdy and Elias were great to work with. One or both of them came by the house daily to make sure things were progressing as planned. Both were easy to contact, always responding quickly to calls or texts. Elias was our project manager. You couldn't ask for a nicer guy. He made us feel like we were his top priority and made sure we understood every stage of the process. He was also very flexible when we wanted to make changes. Their staff was professional and courteous. The quality of the work is superior. Their designer created a thoughtful plan so we could maximize the space in our small eat-in kitchen. The cabinet makers worked quickly and paid attention to all the details. In the bathroom the team helped us reimagine the space to create additional storage. They all went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the finished product. I can't stress enough how easy it was to work with them and how reasonable their quote was. Ferdy has created a top-notch company. I would not hesitate calling them for our next project.

Him and his team were always friendly and respectful. Given that we're in the middle of a pandemic, they always wore their masks. We were initially looking for a contractor to remodel our garage. We were so happy with the results that we also asked them to build an art studio, a project we were considering in the future. FHS was great at working as a team, and bringing my vision to life. Ferdy presented different ideas and explained the pros and cons of each. We appreciated how they were always communicative about where we are in the process and what's going on. Ferdy and his team completely remodeled our master bathroom and installed hardwood floors throughout the house. Communication was superb -- very fast and clear. The job was finished timely and on budget. Any issues that arose were promptly resolved. It was a pleasure working with FHS.

From my first meetings with Ferdy and his team I knew I wanted to hire FHS for my renovation job. I did my homework though and met with other contractors which was a waste of time ...so now you don't need to, ha! Super Pro! Ferdy and his crew went above and beyond for our bathroom remodel. No stress and no worries as FHS delivered at every step. Everyone on the crew was kind, responsible, and most importantly respectful of our time and space. The crew seems to truly enjoy what they do as it reflects in the final product. As a result, communication was key. The team text thread was an environment of quick response and updates. Never felt any pressure and truly had no worries.

Just completed a master bath remodel. I've had the unfortunate fortune, of working on over 20 some plus homes, all of which have had some type of construction, remodeling, or contracting work done on them.
From foundation to roof... everything inside and out I pretty much did everything... "jack of all trades master of few"
I was also a consultant on many multimillion dollar, construction and installations, so I have had a pretty broad perspective of worksites and Customer inner-face as I have sat on both sides of the aisle.

As far as project managers go Javier Basso was a diamond in the rough.

When we first met Javier, his quiet, even tempered calming presence Made me question my previous conception of contractors, which are usually pretty strong willed, opinionated, confident to a fault, and at times lacking ongoing empathy, as projects and conflict arise.

Not to mention the endless calls they have to answer on the daily.

I've also had the overzealous logo wearing polo shirt project managers, who couldn't tell you the difference between a Flathead and a pan head screw. Nor why a right Angle and levels are critical to any project.

Javier Basso had a broad knowledge of mechanical and workmanship details needed in a high-quality remodeling project. If I had a question about some type of Repair, and Javier did not the answer, he will inquire and find the correct answer.

FHC's General contractor's license holder is "Ferdy" he was quiet, helpful, informed and in a few minutes, put me at rest as he appeared to be someone who is in the prime of his contracting years.

After receiving three bids, all of which were within 1000 or $2000 of each other we decided to go with FHC. The project did run a couple weeks late, as just about every project I've ever worked on has, but their workmanship and their ability to correct issues that the customer felt was wrong was near effortless. Javier made us feel valued and always had a positive attitude.
I have a medium size project coming up and would use FHC again. The caveat is they appeared to be getting very busy but worth the consultation and call.
If you've had construction projects, go awry as many of them do it would be worth the wait for FHC.
They actually realize that their construction site was my home. It is amazing how many workers forget the concept that their worksite is where someone sleeps at night. Having to remind someone to sweep the floors, pick up their discarded nails or tire damaging screws is no longer a viable option. I am done asking adults to clean take their trash and clear The doorway.
Javier made it all happen seamlessly At the end of the day, they cleaned up and left your home as clean as responsibly able.
