Him and his team were always friendly and respectful. Given that we're in the middle of a pandemic, they always wore their masks. We were initially looking for a contractor to remodel our garage. We were so happy with the results that we also asked them to build an art studio, a project we were considering in the future. FHS was great at working as a team, and bringing my vision to life. Ferdy presented different ideas and explained the pros and cons of each. We appreciated how they were always communicative about where we are in the process and what's going on. And also, always available for questions. We've worked with other contractors in the past and there's no comparison! FHS is very professional and reliable. Also, Ferdy told us what the price would be at the beginning and stated that price wouldn't change unless something drastic came up. These days it's hard to find a contractor that does nickel and dime you. He was true to his word. FHS did such a wonderful job with all of our projects, we couldn't be happier! Ferdy and his team completely remodeled our master bathroom and installed hardwood floors throughout the house. Communication was superb -- very fast and clear. The job was finished timely and on budget. Any issues that arose were promptly resolved. It was a pleasure working with FHS.

We used FHS for a remodel project that involved a room addition, an ADU conversion, and an outdoors room (covered concrete patio). The business owner Ferdy has built a team of talented and hardworking professionals who delivered on a rather complex project with a lot of details. Our house is more than 100 years old and FHS was attentive to our requests in ensuring that the new construction would integrate the existing structure seamlessly. Of all the people on the FHS team, in addition to Ferdy, we interacted with Elias, Antonio, Henry, and Gelson the most. Elias was the project manager, and he was patient, poised, responsive, polite, and organized. He was very flexible in adapting his project management workflow to our needs. Elias was particularly adept at cultivating a good working relationship with inspectors from day 1. Antonio and Henry could handle almost any task you threw at them: framing, plumbing, electrical, concrete, you name it! Antonio was particularly good at tasks that required attention to fine details while Henry was excellent at handling large and complex structures. Gelson had an artistic eye for painting, staining, moldings, and anything that went into the finishing touches. In every construction project, there are times when things go according to plan, and times when problems arise. Whenever a problem occurred, the FHS team was responsive, found a solution, and implemented it effectively. Ferdy's excellent team at FHS is augmented by a network of specialist subcontractors that can handle anything a house needs including tiles, stucco, concrete pour, flooring, railing, cabinetry, etc. All-in-all, FHS is a very capable and professional business whether you're remodeling an existing structure or building a house from scratch.

If you ever need any kind of home renovation, we highly recommend FHS Construction. Ferdy and his crew were a dream to work with. They did a fantastic job and left no detail unturned. Every question and concern we had was addressed with speed, professionalism, and a "no problem" attitude. They even did a few little extras for us just because. Ferdy always came with a smile and a hug, and his guy Jorge did excellent work. We'll kind of miss them coming around!

Ferdy just finished a remodel on our house - moving walls, completely redoing a bathroom, new floors, new windows etc. He was honest and forthright and a true pleasure to work with. The work is great. Ferdy was always easy to get a hold of and he kept me updated regularly on progress. His team is reliable and hardworking. Even when we had trouble with permits, Ferdy was ready, willing and able to do whatever we needed to get things done. I cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

FHS did such a great job remodeling the master bathroom at our home in Burbank; so, when we got a fixer-upper condo in Oceanside, Ferdy, Elias, and their team were the first contractor we thought of to help us with the remodel. The condo had most of the original fixtures from the 80s and required a full facelift (see before and after pics). FHS replaced the floors and kitchen countertops, installed a new kitchen sink/faucet and new ceiling fans, and did a total remodel of the bathroom - replacing the old tub/shower with a new tiled shower. The best part about working with FHS again was knowing I could trust them to do quality work with little supervision. I told Elias what I wanted, gave him the keys, and let FHS do all the work in Oceanside while I worked from home in Burbank. The team always wore masks (remodel was during covid), kept the common areas clean (I received no complaints from our HOA), and finished the work right on schedule. We're so happy with the work and the family loves having a beautiful place by the beach!
